Description
FLO-BONDis a select, high affinity sorbent Hydrated Sodium Calcium Aluminosilicate (HSCAS) which is used in animal feeds and ingredients. It's use has been proven world wide when molds, caking, and flowability are problems. After a mold grows, it leaves behind toxins which may be detrimental to animal and bird performance. Mycotoxins left from mold growths may be bound and pass thru the digestive system for a safe to use feed or ingredient when FLO-BOND is used to treat the feed or ingredient. (GRAS listed)

FLO-BOND IS SAFE TO USE IN RATIONS AND INGREDIENTS FOR ALL LIVESTOCK AND POULTRY, WHEN CAKING, FLOWABILITY, AND MOLDS WITH THEIR RESULTING TOXINS ARE PROBLEMS.
Mycotoxins are the end result of molds growing on feedstuffs. When ingested by animals, if at high enough levels, certain mycotoxins usually result in a decline or reduction in bird and/or animal performance, such as rate of gain, feed conversion, breeding performance, and in some cases death. The first problem usually observed is reduced feed consumption.

We can not and do not make claims for the ability of FLO-BOND to prevent or bind mycotoxins. However, we can show trial results where mycotoxin levels have been reduced in feeds and feedstuffs when FLO-BOND was used as part of the ration. One observation we have noted is that unlike other binding products, FLO-BOND does demonstrate it's effectiveness on a very wide range of mycotoxins, and it's suggested use level is about 1/2 the amounts other products require.

FLO-BOND'S GREATER CATIONIC EXCHANGE CAPACITY:
Cationic Exchange Capacity (CEC) is a means of detecting the amount of exchangeable cations in soil and clay chemistry. CEC is reported in millequivalents per 100 Gms. of dry clay. The Base Saturation takes the total CEC (60 or 98 meq) in some other products, and makes them less efficient (25 to 50%) of the binding capacity of FLO-BOND. In-vitro tests do not always indicate effectiveness in live animals, but are good guidelines.

FLO-BOND USE RATE:

Preventive level: 700 g to 1.1 kg per MT
Treatment Dose: 1.1 to 2.5 kg per MT
