Description
The Dry Bond Laminating Machine uses adhesive to bind the layers of substrates.
Lamination is bonding 2 or more films or other substrates together using an adhesive or a layer of molten plastic producing a multi-layered structure. Lamination is useful where one surface is printed and then covered by a protective layer of film that prevents oils or abrasions detracting the quality of the rotogravure print.
The Extrusion Lamination and Coating Machine are used to melt and continuously apply a controlled amount of very viscous molten resin directly between the two web materials being laminated. The bond is achieved as the molten resin re-solidifies in situ. In most cases, Extrusion Lamination is more recognized as an economical alternative to the dry laminating process.
